NEPAL AUSTRALIA FRIENDSHIP ASSOCIATION
Nepal-Australia Friendship Association ( South Australia) is a non-political, secular, and non-profit organisation. The primary
objective of the association is to promote friendship, understanding and goodwill between the people of Nepal and Australia,
and those objectives will be non-political and non-commercial.
The NAFA (SA) activities include:
-participation in social activities, discussions, seminars etc;
-provision of support and assistance to Nepali students and visitors to South Australia;
-financial support to small scale developmental/educational projects and national disaster fund in Nepal
-contact with similar organisations and groups.
Membership of NAFA (SA) is open to any person with interests in these activities regular social events include the celebration of
Nepali New Year, Dashain, and other occasions.
Guest speakers, slide and video presentations on Nepal, and photo nights from trekking experiences inform members and guests
about current issues in Nepal.
